Sunapee Conservation Commission Minutes meeting date June 1, 2011
Present: Tim Fleury, Van Webb, Rem Mastin, Bruce Burdett, Roger Whitaker, Lela Emery

Bruce Burdett made the motion to accept the May 2011 Minutes as written. Seconded by Tim Fleury. All in Favor 6, opposed 0.
SCC members met with the Select Board and were given a favorable response on accepting the 2.23 acre lot being donated to the Town of Sunapee by the Ludwig Family. SCC members will go to the Planning Board for their input. SCC will hold 2 public hearings in August or September. Tim Fleury made the motion to accept the donation of the gift of the 2.23 acre parcel owned by the Ludwig Family subject to Planning Board feedback and Public Hearing input. Rem Mastin seconded the motion. All in Favor 6, Opposed 0. Beth (ASLPT representative) and Van hiked the property; there is no buildable land, wetland, duck boxes, wild life. When it does come to the town the restriction of no structures will be in the language. SCC members will review options of how to incorporate the property to the town’s inventory.
Ledge Pond is complete- a letter of thanks has been received from ASLPT. Van and Beth walked the lot a plan will be created to remove the rusty barrels, piping, wooden box etc.
